Program goal
Why | One of the main challenges of managing a remote team is cultivating the kind of connections that come from in-person social gatherings and casual conversations that happen day-to-day in a shared office environment. “You need to create substitutes for the casual hallway conversations, meals, and accidental interactions that typically happen in the course of a day and week when everyone is geographically in the same place,” Harvard Business School Professor Anthony Mayo says.
What | The main goal of this initiative is to recreate the casual, spontaneous conversations that occur around the office coffee machine, but in a virtual setting.
How | Every two weeks, members will be offered the chance to be randomly matched (in groups of 2) to connect and share an informal moment together.
