What is your role at Allianz GI France?

I am currently in Institutional Investor Relations, after having been responsible for a team of 25 people within the Operations Department.

Can you tell us about your RandomCoffee experience?

The key experience for me was the meeting with the Head of Institutional Sales a few weeks before the opening of a position in his team. This meeting allowed me to learn more about their activities & to create a bond with a service which by my role seemed to me compartmentalized until now.

Can you tell us what it has brought you in concrete terms?

The relationships that RandomCoffee can create are important and expand our internal network. Even more on more junior profiles in the Group. For me, in this case, I ended up changing departments by moving from operations to commercial development.

Do you think this is important at your company?

From my point of view, putting these kinds of initiatives on a pedestal by making it mandatory may have not have the desired effect. You just have to participate, try and then you realize its power to break down silos. It is indisputable that the approach makes it incredibly easy to foster new interactions
