Why this program
One of the main challenges of managing a remote team is cultivating the kind of connections that come from in-person social gatherings and casual conversations that happen day-to-day in a shared office environment. “You need to create substitutes for the casual hallway conversations, meals, and accidental interactions that typically happen in the course of a day and week when everyone is geographically in the same place,” Harvard Business School Professor Anthony Mayo says.
What it is
The main goal of this initiative is to recreate the casual, spontaneous conversations that occur around the office coffee machine, but in a virtual setting.
How it works
Every two weeks, members will be offered the chance to be randomly matched (in groups of 2) to connect and share an informal moment together.

- If you accept, you'll get a matching email with the name of your coffee buddy.
