Traditional L&D is expensive, slow to adapt, and often disconnected from the specific growth goals employees actually have.
What it is
The Thematic Skill Workshop pairs employees based on a specific skill or topic they want to learn or teach: public speaking, data analysis, stakeholder management, AI tools, or any focus area you define. Each pair receives a structured topic card with suggested session prompts and a clear objective. The program runs over 4–6 weeks, with 2–3 focused sessions per pair.
How it works
Employees opt in and pick the skill they want to learn or teach. RandomCoffee pairs them once based on those choices, and the match email introduces each pair with its topic. The pair then schedules its sessions on its own.

This is not a long-term coaching relationship. It is a short, focused exchange: 2 to 3 sessions over 4 to 6 weeks, centered on a single topic you choose. Think of it as the most targeted upskilling conversation you will have this quarter.
How does it work?
- You choose the skill or topic you want to develop: public speaking, data analysis, stakeholder management, AI tools, feedback techniques, and more.
- We match you with a colleague who either teaches that skill or wants to learn it alongside you.
- You receive a topic card with session prompts and a suggested structure for each meeting.
- 2 to 3 focused sessions are all it takes to make meaningful progress.
