Mentoring has become a top priority in Learning and Development. These programs benefit mentors and mentees, align with organizational goals like retention and diversity, and offer a clear return on investment by reducing turnover costs, as shown in studies like Gartner's at Sun Microsystems.
What it is
The "Connect & Grow Mentoring Program" pairs mentors with mentees based on desired skills for a six-month journey of professional development and growth. If there are more mentees than mentors, unmatched mentees are paired together to foster networking and peer support, ensuring everyone benefits from the program’s collaborative and enriching environment.
How it works
Employees opt in and indicate whether they join as a mentor or as a mentee, along with the skills they want to share or develop. RandomCoffee then pairs each mentee with a mentor, and matches any remaining mentees together. The match email introduces each pair so they can plan their first session.

We're excited to launch the first edition of the Connect & Grow Mentoring Program, a six-month journey of professional development and growth, designed to boost your career through expert guidance and vibrant peer networking!
How does it work?
- This program will pair 1 Mentee with 1 Mentor based on specific skills, for a period of 6 months.
- Once matched together, Mentors and Mentees will have the freedom to arrange meetings at their own pace during the 6 months (our recommendation is to organize bi-weekly meetings).
- Depending on the number of Mentors/Mentees joining the initiative, some Mentors/Mentees may be matched together. Seize this opportunity to network together!
- At the end of the 6-month period, new groups will be formed, to broaden your learning experience and networking opportunities!
